OUR STORY
Dog cakes you say? OK lets begin by saying we're not insane. It's quite simple really....our story starts with a bulldog.
Eddie and Rich, two artists with no creative outlet, decided to make a bulldog birthday cake for a friend a couple of years ago. A few absent minded compliments later and they had a project: the cakedog seed was planted. A month later and Cake Doggy Dog was born. Soon we were creating cakedogs for all our favourite people of all our favourite dogs, and making realistic cake versions of anything we could think of (cake cheese was a particular favourite!)
Our vision is to ensure that cake decorating remains the art form that it is. What we we love most is making our cakes so exciting to look at that you wont want to eat them! (We highly recommend you do though, they're yummy!)
At Cake Doggy Dog we say no to novelty; we create cakes, handcrafted at every stage, that are as stimulating to the eye as they are to the taste buds. Whether its a cake that looks so much like your dog you're afraid it'll lick your face or cupcakes and cake pops that are so pretty you'll want to decorate your home with them, we ensure all our creations are a visual delight (and a tasty treat!)
Most importantly though, we want you to have as much fun eating our cakes as we do making them!
We're always cooking up something new, trying to blur the lines between cake, reality and art, so keep your eyes sharp and your noses to the ground!
